She has assisted many clients to work through and resolve personal conflicts, adjustment issues, and relationship concerns. Laura’s counselling style is based upon evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.

She has worked with adults with persistent and severe mental illness, women and children escaping domestic violence, disadvantaged young people and children and adolescent with mental health issues.
She is skilled in delivering a number of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and other strengths-based models.
Vivienne has a special interest in working with children and adolescents who are experiencing a board range of difficulties. She takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to her work and understands the importance of involving parents in order to facilitate the very best outcomes for children and adolescents. Vivienne also has a particular interest in working with children who have experienced trauma and utilises evidence-based techniques alongside a gentle and compassionate manner to assist children and their families recover from trauma.
